Add Music for Lent:  During this time of Lent instead of giving up something why not add music.  The Music Ministry at CLC has two opportunities for singers.  The Celebration Choir will be presenting “The Seven Last Words of Christ” by Theodore Dubois.  This traditional choral work will be presented on Good Friday, April 2 at 7:00pm.  The choir will rehearse “The Seven Last Words” on Thursday nights from 7:00 to 7:30pm in the chapel.  For more information contact Doug Wilson, Celebration Choir Director, at Orff97@aol.com.
We are also looking for instrumentalists that wish to add to our music performances.  We need instrumentalists that have had several years of instruction on their instrument.  Youth and adults are welcome.  Our first goal is to have a brass group perform on Easter Sunday.  If you are interested please contact Doug Wilson, organist, at Orff97@aol.com.

Boy Scout Troop 848 will have its Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday March 7 from 7am - 12:30pm.  There will be a cost of $4 for adults and $3 for children age 9 and under.  All proceeds go towards the boys’ summer camp funds.  Thank you for your support.

The Easter Food Collection will begin today, February 28th and continue until March 21st.  Because of the present economy and the many families in need, we are asking that you be as generous as possible.  Thank you!

If you would like to sing in this event, please join us for rehearsals which will begin on Sunday, March 7 at 12:15pm in the Chapel.

A new Book and Bible Study for Adults will begin on Sunday, April 18. We will be studying the book, A New Kind Of Christianity by Brian McLaren.
