In the fall of 1996, Patricia Smith was asked to join Community Lutheran Church as an Associate in Ministry. So she left New Town, Pennsylvania and headed for the desert. Here at CLC she oversees numerous ministries including Singles, Women's and Stephen Ministry. She oversees support groups, small groups, men's groups, women's and singles' bible study and couples groups, as well.

Patricia loves to teach, and as Director of Small Group Ministry, she conducts discipleship classes and Bible study classes for those interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the Bible.

Along with leading prayer ministry, she coordinates the assimilation of new members to CLC, sending out the "Bread Patrol," who take bread to first time visitors to the church.

She's on the Health Board, as well as a participating Partner in Evangelism of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
