It’s a LOVE HAITI thing.  On Saturday, February 13 at 5:00pm the CLC Emerging Generations and Youth Ministries are putting on a Haiti Support Vigil.  Open your hearts for the devastation in Haiti.  Bring gently used or new shoes for Soles4Souls and money for World Vision, all in support of Haiti.  T-Shirts will also be sold with all proceeds benefiting Compassion International and their support of Haiti.  More importantly, we’re going to pray and worship God in response to this crisis.  The CLC Youth will also be leading worship on Sunday, February 14th at 10:45am in support of Haiti.

Annual Meeting: Plan to attend the annual Congregational Meeting on Monday, February 22 at 7:00pm in the sanctuary.

Women’s Retreat in Springdale, Utah, February 25-28: For more information call 348-7103.  Mail your Registration forms, found at  the Community Center desk in the Crossroads, by December 20.  Ladies who are not members of CLC are also welcome to attend the retreat.

Oberammergau 2010:  Every ten years the little town of Oberammergau in Germany fulfills its promise to relive the Passion Narrative of Jesus’ death and resurrection and invites the world to come and see the story.  Community Lutheran is organizing a twelve day trip which will include seeing the play in 2010.  The trip dates are May 31 to June 11, 2010.  Any member or friend of CLC is welcome to come on the trip which will include 3 days in scenic Switzerland, 3 days in the German Alps, 3 days in Austria’s Tyrol region and a final day in Munich.  Interested?  A brochure is available at the Community Center beginning today.  A  limited number of spots are available.  An unforgettable experience awaits.  Check it out.

Pondo Winter Camp ~ Awaken and Resurgence combined ~ January 15-18, 2010 at Ponderosa Pines Christian Camp.  The cost is $200 with extra costs for skiing or snowboarding if chosen.  We will spend two nights in Pondo and one night at the Skaggs’ cabin.  Elevate your faith this winter with an adventure in Big Bear.  Registration and full payment are due by January 4.   Fundraising is available.
