Traditions…the ties that bind…
8:00 a.m.
Our Sunday morning worship life begins bright and early, at 8:00 a.m. with a service that that is designed to pay tribute to the heritage we share in our Lutheran worship traditions.  Traditional Hymnody is utilized and  led by Doug Wilson, our organist of 20 years on our new Rodgers Pipe Organ, along with Minister of Music and Worship, Greg Davis.  Holy Communion is celebrated weekly.

Celebrations…blending the old and the new for our God of the future…
9:20 a.m.

Remember Donnie and Marie Osmond…  “I’m a little bit country…I’m a little bit rock and roll.”  At ‘Celebrations’ we might sing…”I’m a little bit traditional…I’m a little bit praise and worship.”
Structured variety are the terms that seem to describe our ‘Celebrations’ worship hour.  Music and worship are led by Minister of Music and Worship, Greg Davis along with a large adult choir, organ, percussion and other instrumentalist.  Come to be inspired by heavenly hymn singing and the best of praise and worship songs.  There is a basic structure/ order of worship with modified liturgy that is written weekly by the preaching pastor…to support the theme of the message.  Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Transformations...the changing power of the Holy Spirit
10:45 a.m.
Our Contemporary Praise and Worship Service is truly a unique offering for Lutheran Church. It combines the strong theology of the Lutheran Church with the very latest in praise and worship music. The best word to describe this service is "experience." We seek to bring today's generation to a more fulfilling relationship with God by using video, driving music rhythms and lights. There is a great deal of singing that seeks to lead each person to a place where God is the focus and the Word can be assimilated into life. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Community Lutheran is known nation-wide for this ground-breaking worship service. Holy Communion is served each Sunday.

Saturday service

Selah
Saturday evenings 6:00 p.m.
‘Selah’ is a word that describes how we respond to scripture.  We stop and listen…We weigh the words to find the truth…We value the written Word of God found in the Holy Bible. This unique worship service combines atmosphere, very contemporary praise and worship music led by a variety of singers and instrumentalists, with anointed leadership by Minister of Praise, Mike Watkins, with Bible teaching from the pulpit.  Communion is celebrated weekly prior to the Bible teaching in an attempt to ready ourselves completely for God’s message.  Following the SELAH there is fellowship and food.  Many combine SELAH with one of our Sunday morning worship experiences.
